CASKET TYPES

Gethers Funeral Home, Inc. offers a wide selection of caskets manufactured by several of the nationally recognized leaders in the industry, as well as many selections from reputable, top quality manufacturers right here in the Southeast.

Caskets are constructed of two types of material: metal or wood. The metal group consists of four types: Bronze, Copper, Stainless Steel and Steel (which consists of three grades).  The wood group includes: Mahogany, Cherry, Pecan, Oak, Walnut, Poplar and Pine.

BRONZE Caskets

• The finest of all metal caskets
• Strongest and most durable material
• Naturally resistant to rust and corrosion
• Semi-precious metal

COPPER Caskets

• Another semi-precious metal
• Though less durable than bronze, provides strength and durability
• Natural resistance to rust and corrosion

STAINLESS STEEL Caskets
