June 5, 1942 – December 15, 2025
With deep sorrow and heartfelt reverence, we announce the peaceful transition of Mrs. Anna L. Williams, of Pineville, South Carolina, who entered eternal rest on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Mrs. Williams was a devoted retired educator with the Berkeley County School District, whose life reflected a passion for service, learning, and uplifting others. She was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Order of the Eastern Star, exemplifying sisterhood, leadership, and community service.
Mrs. Williams was a faithful member of Day Dawn Baptist Church, where she served diligently and with a willing heart. In her personal time, she found great joy in sewing, flower gardening, and sharing her creativity and warmth with family, friends, and church family.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted husband, Mr. Isiah E. "Earl" Williams; her beloved children, Tasha R. Williams and Jerrod Williams; her dear siblings, Matilda Jackson, Rosabelle Pinckney, and Caroline Smalls (Henry); along with a host of relatives, friends, former students, and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, George Washington and Mary Lawson.
Viewing will be held Sunday, December 21, 2025, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Gethers Funeral Chapel, 221 Church Road, St. Stephen, SC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Day Dawn Baptist Church, 2057 Highway 45, Pineville, SC. A viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be NO viewing after the service. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gethersfh
Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Marcus Lane, Pineville, SC.
We humbly ask that you uplift the Williams family in prayer, surrounding them with love, support, and encouragement as they journey through this tender season of grief.
