Biography

Richard Leroy Wallace, son of Mr. Richard and Mrs. Elizabeth Wallace, was born on February 2, 1945, in Lane, South Carolina. Brother Wallace fell asleep in death on February 1, 2010.

Richard was educated at Medgar Evers University in Brooklyn, New York.
In 1968, Richard dedicated his life to Jehovah God and became one of his witnesses by water baptism in Greenpoint, New York. Later he moved to Moncks Corner, South Carolina and was here when the newer Moncks Corner Congregation was established.

Richard loved people and was always upbeat and encouraging. To know him was to love him. As we know, he was never at a lost for words.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Wallace; his son and daughter, David and Elise Wallace; stepchildren: Tiffany, Randy, Cynthia, Dana, Joseph, Mary and Jonathan; two grandchildren, Danté and Alex; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Elijah Miller.
