Aicia Dionne Johnson, the loving daughter of Robert Lee and Deborah Anne Johnson, was born on April 27, 1986 in North Charleston, South Carolina. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Aicia committed her life to Christ at an early age. She became a member of Anderson Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, SC and served faithfully on the Youth Choir and Junior Usher Board. She also served as Sunday School Secretary. Aicia attended the public schools of Berkeley County and graduated Salutatorian from Berkeley High School in May 2004. She served as a member of the National Honor Society, Interact Club, Varsity Volleyball team, Air Force Junior ROTC and School Chorus. Aicia was the recipient of numerous awards, some of which included: Converse Junior Scholar Award, Presbyterian College Junior Academic Achievement Award, The Wofford Scholars Program Award, the Berkeley High Academic Booster Club for Outstanding Achievement, the Award of Merit for Outstanding Intellectual Achievement in the South Carolina Junior Scholars Development Program and the Berkeley Board of Education and the Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce for Academic Excellence Award. Aicia had been accepted to and planned to attend Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia prior to becoming ill. She leaves to cherish her fond memories: her parents, Robert Lee and Deborah Anne Johnson; a brother, Robert Auston Johnson; a stepsister, Trellany Simmons; aunts and uncles, Grace C. Brown, Ralph B. Brown, Jr., Cleve Garvin, LeRoy Johnson (Janice), Edward Johnson (Gladys), Solomon Johnson (Audrey), Freddie Johnson (Gerri), Sarah Lyles (Willie), Derry Johnson, Louella Haymon (Vann), Cheryl Graham (Bernard); and a host of other relatives and friends.
