Albert "Al" Bennett, the son of Joseph Bennett, Sr. and Annie Mae Bennett, was born on February 1, 1960 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Bonneau, South Carolina.

Brother Bennett was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County. He was a 1978 graduate of Macedonia High School.

He worked as a sheet metal and A/C worker for several years. He was also a mechanic.

He was a member of Greater St. Mark African Methodist Episcopal Church, Bonneau, SC.

Brother Bennett enjoyed being with his family and had a special bond with his nieces and nephews and other family members.

He loved watching Sanford & Son and enjoyed watching football. His favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. He liked any chocolate food and Mustangs.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph Bennett, Sr. and a brother, James Bennett.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and caring mother, Annie Mae Bennett of Bonneau, SC; six brothers, Willie Joe (Willie Mae) Palmer, Joseph (Elouise) Bennett, Jr. and Leroy Bennett all of Bonneau, SC, Walter Lee (Patrice) Bennett of Jacksonville, FL, Nathaniel (Iesha) Bennett of Gastonia, NC and Kevin (Carmella) Bennett of Santee, SC; five sisters, Bertha Lee (James) Wright, Mary L. McHoney (Harris, Jr.-deceased), Annie Ruth (Michael) Bowens and Rhunnett (William) Nelson all of Bonneau, SC and Claressa (Joseph) Shirah of St. Stephen, SC; best friend from elementary school, Eugene "Butch" Milford; other special friends, Roger and Ryan McFadden, Hazel Jones, Jacqueline Thompson, Herman Jenkins, Eric Frost, Delores Pressley, Joseph and James Wright; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Brother Bennett will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
