With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Albert Carey Richmond, Sr. of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Mr. Richmond found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed working in his yard, hunting, and fishing. He was especially fond of his cake, coffee, and ice cream, and was rarely seen without his beloved camouflage attire. He also had a special affection for his cats.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 68 years, Earline Richmond; and his sisters, Georgie Ballard, Mabel Lloyd, and Stella Jean Boyce.

Mr. Richmond leaves to cherish his memory his children, Bertine Richmond, Albert Carey "A.C." Richmond, Jr., Thelma R. Tyler, Theresa Ann Richmond, Josephine Richmond, Georgianna Richmond, and Willa Mae Richmond; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brother, Stanley Richmond; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
