Alvin White Sr. was born on October 19, 1967 in Charleston, SC. He was born son of William Morant Sr. and the late Earnestine White. Alvin departed this life on May 22, 2009. Alvin known as "Al" to many, received his education at Macedonia High School in Berkeley County. He was a graduate of the class of 1985. Al, at a young age, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He attended St. Peters A.M.E. Church, Bonneau, South Carolina. On December 24, 1988, Al was joined in holy matrimony to Geneva S. White. Unto this union two children were born. Al was employed at W & W Trucking Company in Moncks Corner, SC as a Mechanic for many years. Al was known for his many skills as a Logger, Water Well Driller, and for his own vocabulary to those who knew him. Alvin "Al" White, a loving father, brother and friend, leaves to cherish his three sons, Alvin White Jr., Rashaad White and Lequon Wilson; one loving daughter, Sha-ray Wilson. Three step daughters; Latoya Savage, Shay (Demetrie) Wigfall, and Shantay Jamerson. Father, William (Jackie) Morant Sr. Sister, Ella (Anthony) Ravenell.
