Obituary

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints." - Psalms 116:15 (KJV) "I am the resurrection, and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." - John 11:25-26 (NKJV) Angelique Antoinette "Angie" Williams, 42 years old, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 6, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving husband, family, and friends. Angelique was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 9, 1973, and was affectionately known as "Peanut" to family members. She was raised in a military household by parents John Galloway, who served in the Navy for 25 ½ years, and Betty Galloway. Angie, the baby of the family, was raised in Long Beach, California, and then in Goose Creek, SC, where she made her home. Angie was a graduate of Stratford High School, Class of 1991. For the past two years, she was enrolled in college courses, pursuing a degree in Psychology. She served in the Army National Guard for 10 ½ years where she was deployed for several months to Saudi Arabia. She previously was employed with the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center, North Charleston, SC, where she worked for almost 10 years. Angie married her best friend and devoted husband, Dominic Keith Williams in Goose Creek, SC, on August 24, 2012. She was a devoted mother and raised three beautiful children, Brittany Galloway, Paige Walker and Treyvon Walker, plus one four-legged fur baby Gracie, all of whom she loved very much. \ Angie is survived by her loving husband, Dominic Keith Williams; children, Brittany Galloway, Paige Walker and Treyvon Walker; grandchildren, Jayden Galloway and Rae'Jon "Rae Rae" Fabers; parents, John (Geneva) Galloway and Betty Galloway; father and mother-in-law James and Joyce Hankins; siblings, Catherine Hennix, Emma (William) Salters, Reynaldo (Melinda) Green, and Angela Galloway; grandmother, Casa Lee Green; special nephew Joshua Nance; nieces and nephews, Cierra Hennix, Demetrius Jackson, Henry McLaurin III, Kaitlyn Hennix, Hillary McLaurin, Jailen Johnson, and Erin Johnson. Angie also is survived by numerous stepchildren, a host of grandchildren, and a multitude of uncles, aunts and cousins. \ She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Josephine Galloway, Mary Harley and Gladys Smalls; and her sister, Carol McLaurin. Angie touched lives everywhere she went. If you knew her, you loved her. With her ready smile, open demeanor and "live life to the fullest" attitude, it was hard not to love her. She was special in every way, and the memories she left us with, we will cherish forever. Rest in peace, Our Angel. ********************************************************************** The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Angelique "Angie" Williams will be STREAMED LIVE over the internet on Sunday.
