Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness. - II Timothy 4:7 Mrs. Ann Wigfall Whittington, daughter of the late Regenia Green and the late Paul Wigfall, was born March 28, 1925 in Eutawville, South Carolina. She lived in Charleston, SC. In the late 1950's, Ann moved to New York and was employed as a home attendant for many years. Ann reared a son, Alfred. While in New York, she met her late husband, Ben Whittington. They were united in Holy Wedlock on July 3, 1976. After she retired, she relocated back to Moncks Corner, SC. Ann became a member of Trinity Holiness Church and was active there until her health failed. To know Ann was to love her. She resided at Plantation Apartments since the late 1990's and was the mother, grandmother and good friend to all who lived in the apartment complex. Ann departed this life on March 4, 2010 at Roper St. Francis Medical Center, Moncks Corner, SC. Those left to cherish fond memories are: her son, Alfred (Jackie) President of Moncks Corner, SC; two sisters, Rainie President of St. Stephen, SC and Rosalee Green of Goose Creek, SC; two brothers, Jacob President and Joseph (Dorothy) President of Moncks Corner, SC; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; grandchildren: Shawn, Kimberly, Reginald (Anesa); great-grandchildren, Kylē, London, Jordan, Brook, Farid, Niambi, Lily, Shawntae, and Matthew; a host of nieces, nephews, close neighbors, and other relatives.
