Anna Grant Bryant, known as "Queenie", was born July 15, 1923 in Oakley, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Amy and Jeffery Grant. She departed this life on December 6, 2013 in North Charleston, SC. Anna received her education in the Oakley School System. She loved to work and clean houses. Thank the Lord that Anna received Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She would sing and pray every day until Jesus came to take her home. Anna leaves to cherish her memories: children, Inez Bryant, Ella Bryant, Barbara Ann Jenkins, Thomas Bryant, Apostle Evelina James (Sylvester) and Sally Cunningham; one sister, Maggie Simmons, Eva Simmons (Lee), Earlene Hailey, Christine Gathers; grandchildren: William A. Davis (Rebecca), Wendy D. Jones (Ponce), Cory Bryant (Tasheta), Stanley Bryant, Alfredia Bryant, Jimmy Bryant, Joey V. James (Theresa), Sherrie Richardson (Cedric) and LaToya Cunningham; 16 great-grandchildren; and a large host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends who loved her very much. In Everything, Give Thanks For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) I give thanks to Jesus Christ for giving Anna long life and saving her soul. I thank the Lord for Johns Island House of Prayer Church Family who always kept Anna in prayer. I thank the Lord for the Carolina Center of Gynecologic Oncology, Dr. T. Scott Jennings and his office staff who were always wonderful to Anna. I also thank the Lord for Hospice of Charleston with Dr. T.
