Mrs. Anna Bell Lucille Lawyer Bryant, affectionately known as "Lucille", was the daughter of Reverend Moses and Millie Manigault Lawyer, but she was reared by her stepmother, Geneva Lawyer. Lucille was born on October 12, 1931 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. She transitioned into eternal life with the Lord on April 6, 2021 at her home in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

Lucille was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County and graduated from Berkeley Training High School in 1952.

Lucille was brought up in a Christian home and accepted Christ while attending Saint James African Methodist Episcopal Church. The two churches, Graham and Saint James, merged in 1966 and formed Moncks Corner African Methodist Episcopal Church where she continued her membership, and she worked faithfully until her health started to decline. While active, she served as a member of the Stewardess Board No. 1, Session-Gillians Women's Missionary Society, Usher Board, Senior Choir, the Drayton Singers and the Choraliers singers.

Lucille was united in Holy Matrimony to Calvin Bryant, Sr. on May 9, 1953. From this union six children were born: Deborah, Alfred, Calvin Jr., Derryl, Jeffrey, Anita and later in life a loving stepdaughter, Glenda joined the family.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Moses Lawyer and Millie Manigault Lawyer and her stepmother, Geneva Lawyer; and her brother, Aaron (Maggie Mae) Lawyer.

Lucille leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Calvin Bryant, Sr.; her children, Deborah (Lorenza) Wheeler, Alfred (Georgetta) Bryant, Calvin (Kathy) Bryant, Jr., Derryl (Patricia) Bryant, Jeffrey (Debbie) Bryant, Anita (Larry) Mazyck and Glenda (Nathaniel) Zackary; brothers, Leemon (Rose) Lawyer, Joe (Bernice) Lawyer, Isaiah (Gwendolyn) Lawyer, Samuel (Barshella) Lawyer; sisters, Evanna Cordes and Laura (Craig) Dixon; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Her Graveside Service will be held Friday, April 9, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at St. James AME Cemetery, Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/gethersfh
