Arlene Smith Templeman, daughter of  Louann Smith and Eugene Smith, was born on August 1, 1963 in Brooklyn, NY. She departed this life on October 10, 2021.

Arlene was educated in New York City, NY. She attended the School of Fashion Design. In 2006, she relocated to Moncks Corner, SC and worked several jobs. Her last employment was at C. R. Bard.

Arlene was united in Holy Matrimony to Terry Templeman of Staten Island, NY in 1993. They were blessed with one daughter and one son.

Arlene leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Terry Templeman; daughter, Diashiana Templeman; son, Terrell Terry Templeman; parents, Louann Smith and Eugene Smith; sister, Sabrina Smith; special friend, Stan Brady; special cousin, Cheryl Brown; nephew, Lashod Jamel Jones; niece, Shanette (Sean) Jones-Gethers; special aunts; Ruthann Brown and Ida Smalls; uncle, Joseph Weathers; and a host of relatives and friends.

Arlene was preceded in death by:  a sister, Annette Smith; nephew, Kaheem Eugene Jones; and grandparents, Buster and Lucille Brown.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Face masks are required. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Old Nazareth Cemetery, Pinopolis, SC. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
