It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Barbara Ann Flynn of Summerville, South Carolina, who entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 18, 2026. 

Mrs. Flynn will be remembered as a devoted and faithful servant of God whose life reflected a deep commitment to her faith, her church, and her community. At Mt. Carmel AME Church in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, she worked diligently and gave of herself generously, devoting her life, time, and energy to the work of the Lord. Her steady presence and loving service touched many lives and stand as a lasting testament to the way she lived.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Annissa Johnson, whose memory remained a cherished part of her life.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Mr. Marvin Flynn; her children, Ronald Johnson and Mitchell Johnson; and her siblings, Nancy Russell, Tyrone Smith, and Patricia Nickelson. She also leaves other relatives and friends who will remember her with love and gratitude for the kindness, faith, and care she shared so freely.

As those who knew and loved Mrs. Flynn gather her memory close, they also hold dear the example she set through her devotion to God and to others. Her life was one of service, and her legacy will continue in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
