IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beatrice Miller
Johnson
June 25, 1943 – October 28, 2016
Beatrice Miller Johnson, the daughter of the late O. B. Miller and Janie Pearl Faulk Miller, was born June 25, 1943, in Brundidge, Alabama. She departed this life on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, South Carolina.
"Bea", as she was known to many, received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County, SC.
She accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was a member of Moncks Corner A. M. E. Church.
Beatrice was united in holy matrimony to Paul Johnson. This union was blessed with eight children; two sons, Benjamin Elijah and Marty Dwayne preceded her in death.
"Bea" was a loving and dear mother to her children. She loved children and nurtured many children throughout the years. She was a loveable person who would reach out to others and be there with a listening ear. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing and listening to gospel music. She made a positive impact on many lives and will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Paul Johnson; children, Beverly (Isaac) Green, Paula (Zachary) Thomas, Lennell Robinson, Robert Lee (Sennette) Johnson, Paul (Mary) Johnson, Jr. and Donnell (Pamela) Johnson; children she reared, Earl Neill Gibbs, III (Shalen), Tracy Gibbs and Sharee Jones; siblings, Carolyn Nelson, Rev. Catherine Washington, Angienet (Roger) McFadden, O.B. (Deborah) Miller, Jr., Kizer (Alice) Miller and Willie (Pamie) Miller; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
