It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mr. Ben W. Butler, affectionately known as “Pukolou” and “Razor,” of Moncks Corner, SC, who departed this life on Friday, January 23, 2026.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Mrs. Idabelle Butler; children, Colleen Wheeler, Eric Butler (Kimberly), Gary Butler and Keith Butler (Pariss); nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Deloris Anderson and Betty Butler; and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 11:00 a.m., at Greater Emanuel AME Church, 1174 Doctor Evans Road, Moncks Corner, SC. Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be no viewing after the service. 

Burial will be in Taylor Heirs Resting Place, 128 Taylor Heirs Place, Cordesville, SC.
