Bernice "Bunny" Taylor, the daughter of the late William and Mary Scrappy Rodgers, was born on February 10, 1926, in Jamestown, South Carolina.
Bunny was educated in the Berkeley County School System. She was employed by Santee River Wool Company.
Bunny was a member of Liberty Reformed Episcopal Church where she served faithfully until her health began to fail. She was a member of the Senior Choir and was very dedicated in supporting the church.
Bunny was united in Holy Matrimony to Luther Taylor on August 29, 1949. This union was blessed with seven children. Her husband Luther preceded her in death.
Bunny was a kind and loving woman. Her hobbies included fishing, cooking, and gardening. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering faith.
On Sunday, December 10, 2017, Bunny heard a call from the angels and went home to be with the Lord.
Bunny leaves to cherish her precious memories: her children, Mary (Eldridge) Callum, Raymond Luther Taylor, Dianne Wade all of Jamestown, SC, Loretta (Ricardo) Maitland of Atlanta, GA, Lee Thomas (Annette) Taylor, Vivian Beauford both of Jamestown, SC and Sherry (Rockie) Singleton of St. Stephen, SC; one sister, Catherine (Joe) Vice of Baltimore, MD; one sister-in-law, Marva Rodgers of Alvin, SC; 25 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren; special niece, Juanita Rodgers; special caregivers, Sheraldine Fulmore, Annette Taylor, and Hospice of Summerville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
