It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Bertha Mae Brunson, age 89, of Jamestown, South Carolina, who passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Left to cherish her precious memory are her daughters, Kandice, Levolia, Zena, Gloria, and Annette; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; her siblings; along with many other loving family members and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

Family and friends mourn the passing of a beloved woman whose kindness, strength, and love touched many lives. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 1:00 p.m. at Liberty Reformed Episcopal Church, 3822 North Highway 17A, Jamestown, SC. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed on the funeral home's Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/gethersfh.
