Burial service for Mrs. Bessie Nelson will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 2449 Santee River Road, St. Stephen, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted and loving children, David (Gloria) Nelson, Sally Nelson, Thomasena (Sylvester) Cook, Sandra Nelson and Aljarian Nelson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ulysses (Glennie) Greene and Levester Greene; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
