Mrs. Stevens will be remembered for her love for family and the way she connected with those around her.

With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mrs. Betty T. Stevens of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Mrs. Stevens will be remembered for her love for family and the way she connected with those around her. She believed in knowing how to treat people and how to talk to them—a simple principle that reflected the importance she placed on kindness and respect for others.

Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. David Stevens; brothers, Mr. Mack Wilson, Jr. and Mr. John A. Thompson, Sr.; aunt, Mrs. Phyllis T. Myers; and one who was like a brother to her, Mr. Clarence Palmer.

She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings, Mr. William H. Wilson (Shelia), Mr. Charles Wilson, and Mr. Edward A. Wilson; along with a host of family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church, 108 Sugar Hill Drive, Moncks Corner, SC. Burial will follow in Old Nazareth Cemetery, Pinopolis, SC.

The family will receive friends at Mrs. Stevens’ residence, 1667 Old Whitesville Road, Moncks Corner, SC, on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
