Beulah Mae Lloyd Bennett, daughter of Alfred Lloyd and Leola Manigault Lloyd, was born October 4, 1943 in Cordesville, SC. She departed this life on July 30, 2019 at her residence in Goose Creek, SC.

Beulah received her education in the public schools of Berkeley County, SC. She later relocated to New York where she was employed as a nurse attendant in home health care.

Beulah attended Refuge Bibleway Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Summerville, SC where she was a member of the Mother Board.

Beulah enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her children, Karen McMichael, Kevin James McMichael, Corey McMichael and Jacqueline Choice; sister, Alberta McDuffie; grandchildren, Shinique McMichael, Hydia McMichael, Daniel McMichael, Nhasia Williams, Taniya King and Tammy King; great-grandchildren, Davion King, Michael King, Kylie King, Jackson King, Olivia King-Smith, Shawn D. McMichael, Malachi McMichael, Collin James and Harold James, III; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Beulah was preceded in death by: her parents, Alfred and Leola Lloyd; and siblings, Wilhelmina Lloyd, Otis Lloyd, Ernestine Wynn, Nancy Johnson, Leola Nelson, Alfred Lloyd, Jr., Kelly Lloyd, Julius Lloyd, Othalee Choice  Sadie Brown and Isaiah Washington.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the O. Allen Gethers Memorial Chapel of Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Burial will be private. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
