I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. - II Timothy 4:7-8
Carolyn Miller Nelson, a beacon of love and strength, was born on September 26, 1939, in Brundridge, Alabama, a daughter of the late Mr. OB Miller and Mrs. Janie Pearl Faulk Miller. She began her early education in the Alabama schools.
After her family's relocation to Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Carolyn completed her education at Berkeley Training High School. She was employed at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC, where she served tirelessly for 25 years before retiring.
