Revelation 21:4 Today we celebrate the Home Going of Charles LaSaine. He was born May 3, 1954 in the South Santee community of McClellanville, South Carolina, son of the late Elouise and Andrew LaSaine, Sr. Charles received his education in the public schools of Charleston County. He attended South Santee Elementary School and Lincoln High School, McClellanville, SC. Charles possessed many talents, which included being a landscaper and handyman. He often assisted persons in the community with their lawns and work around their homes. He was also employed at Dawson Lumber Company and the Tobacco Farm in Conway, SC. During his last conversation with his sister Theresia, Charles said, "I'm coming home for my birthday on May 3rd. I just have to get myself together, then I'll come home." God welcomed Charles to his eternal home. Happy Birthday, Charles. Charles departed this life on April 24, 2013 at his residence in Winter Haven, Florida. Charles leaves to cherish his memories: four sisters, Josephine Myers, Thelma (Ronnie) Babbs, Margarette Kennedy all of Brooklyn, NY, and Theresia (Cornelius) Alston of McClellanville, SC; one brother, Jimmy (Nancy) LaSaine of McClellanville, SC; one brother-in-law, Elder Harry Leach of Brooklyn, NY; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
