With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ms. Cheryl Denise Perdue, age 66, of North Charleston, South Carolina, who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in Summerville, South Carolina.

Cheryl was a woman who found joy in the things she loved and the simple pleasures that made life special. She enjoyed going to casinos, fishing, crabbing, and gardening. A true seafood lover, Cheryl especially enjoyed crabs, seafood, and bream. She was also known for her memorable words of wisdom, often saying, “Get it fixed one time and done with it.” Cheryl will be remembered for her personality, her love of the outdoors and good food, and the special memories she created with those who knew and loved her.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Johnson, Jr. and Mary Ann Johnson; and her grandparents, Albert Ware and Minnie Ruth Washington Ware.

Those left to cherish Cheryl’s memory include her siblings, Keith Johnson and Marilyn Quinn.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Salathia Green, Lovan Green, Brittney Davis, Keiera Johnson, and Keith Johnson, Jr.; and her grandnieces and nephews, Montez Whaley, Taylor Green, Chanelle Green, Tyrell Green, Stephon Green, Tavaris Davis, Jr., Johnae Langenfeld, Colston Barra, Keion Johnson, and Keith Johnson, III.

Cheryl’s memory will be treasured by her extended family and friends who were blessed to know and love her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
