********************************************************

Christina Michelle King "Chrissy was born on September 18, 1972 in Welch, West Virginia.

Chrissy graduated from Mt. View High School and later attended Knoxville College in Knoxville, TN where she earned her Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology.  While at Knoxville College, she was inducted into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and she also met Anthony; they dated and eventually married each other.

Chrissy was a member of Royal Baptist Church in Welch, WV, then became a member of New Vision Fellowship in Knoxville, TN where she was a Sunday School teacher, member of Xplosion Dance and Drama Team, the Women's Ministry, and the Food Pantry Ministry. She was always willing to do whatever was asked of her in the ministries. She was presently a member of Abiding Word Family Ministries where she used her bright smile as a Greeter and had the goal of becoming a part of the Women's Prison Ministry.

Chrissy was always an awesome wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She was Anthony's rock and best friend.  Chrissy was an inspiration to many, just with her infectious one of a kind smile and laugh. She made her husband "a better man."  She made him and her children feel as though they could do any and everything. Her husband knows that God blessed him to share a life with the most beautiful, fascinating, exciting, unpredictable woman He created.

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Anthony Darrell King of St. Stephen, SC;  son, James Anthony King and daughter-in-law, Melanie King; six grandchildren; mother, Rosie Ann Jackson of Welch, WV; sisters, Katrina (Gene) Peoples of Warrensburg, MO, Valerie (Daron) Harris and Tracey Jackson of Virginia; grandmothers, Helen Stallworth of West Virginia and Rev. Catherine Washington of Pineville, SC; great-grandmother, Louise Stallworth; parents-in-law, Oswald and Emma King of Gary, IN; and a host of sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Two children, Daniel and Lakala, entered into eternal rest with Chrissy on March 2, 2017.
