Christine Solomon, daughter of Julia Doctor Elmore and the late Luther Elmore, was born on December 25, 1955 in New York, New York. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC after a lengthy illness. She attended the public schools of New York City. Christine later met and married Mr. Alexus Solomon. Christine was a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church in New York, NY. She later relocated to Cross, South Carolina. She was a beautiful stay at home mom to her six wonderful children. She enjoyed reading, cooking and shopping. Christine had a very special love for her grandchildren. She would do anything for them. She will be truly missed. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Julia D. Elmore of Cross, SC; her children, A. Johnny Elmore of Cross, SC, Edmond D. Solomon of Laurel, MD, Sharice Elmore, Ariel Jenkins, Tishia Elmore and Amber Solomon all of New York, NY; two brothers, Anthony Elmore and Harry Elmore both of New York, NY; seven sisters, Ossie McClary of Cross, SC, Ella Elmore, Geraldine Elmore, Sharon Elmore, Jacqueline Elmore, Janet Elmore and Annette Elmore all of New York, NY; her grandchildren: Da'Keem, Jordane, Kamerin, King, Kaeden, Kyan, Kamani and Jaisir; a very special friend, Willis Middleton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
