With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Clarence E. "Gus" Wigfall, Sr., of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who peacefully transitioned on Saturday, January 10, 2026. His life was one marked by love for his family, dedication to his work, and a quiet strength that touched all who knew him.

A skilled carpenter by trade, Mr. Wigfall was known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship. In his leisure time, he found joy and peace in fishing and hunting.

Mr. Wigfall leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife, Mrs. Senovia R. Wigfall; his children, Fredricca Davis (Edward, Sr.), Rhinoti Gray (Alfred), Clarence Wigfall, Jr. (Pamela), Claretha Wigfall, Margretta Burgess (Calvin), Jennifer Gallier, Belinda Bennett (Jonathan), and Jamaine Wigfall (Lashanya); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Laura McCray (Hercules); along with nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Viewing will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Carmel AME Church, 1059 Old Black Oak Road, Moncks Corner, SC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
