It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Daisy Bell (SUSAN) Gibbs-Dawson of Bronx, NY, formerly of Moncks Corner, SC, who peacefully transitioned on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Mrs. Dawson was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Susan Barfield Gibbs; a daughter, Rochelle A. Dawson and the love of her life, James N. Gordon.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with: her children, Edward L. Gordon (Laura) and Henrietta P. Gordon; adopted daughter, Theresa Rogers; siblings, Joseph Gibbs (Sharon) and Sass Burden; grandchildren, Elizabeth Fioravanti (Desi), Porcha Love Gordon, Gregory Gordon, Kiara Williams, Jahron Williams and Orlando Garcia; great-grandchildren, Taliyah and Promise; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, 12:00 p.m., at the O. Allen Gethers Memorial Chapel, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Burial will be in Old Nazareth Cemetery on Wampee Drive, Pinopolis, SC.

Mrs. Dawson, also known as Pamp and Ting (family nicknames) wrote the following: "My dearest sisters and brothers, they were very dedicated and precious to me and I appreciated growing up with them. I thank you all, sisters and brothers, for helping me along the way when I needed it most. I will soon be joining them in Heaven and we will be singing the Gibbs song: Soy, Dye, Boo, Moo, Barlou, Mommie and who wants to know about the Pook the Pamp and the Sonnie, go tell them."

During this period of sorrow, we humbly ask for your prayers and support for the Dawson family. May her faith, love and kindness remain an enduring light in the lives of all she touched.
