"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 Daniel Marcell Richardson, son of Thomas and Pauline Richardson, was born on December 17, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois. He departed this life on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Trident Regional Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina. God put His arms around Daniel and whispered, "Come to Me." He answered the call and quietly slipped away in a peaceful sleep into eternal life with the Lord. Daniel was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County, graduating from Berkeley High School in 1982. Daniel was employed with several trucking companies as an Owner Operator Contractor. He enjoyed driving and was known on the road as "Jelly Roll." He was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Pinopolis, SC, until his health failed. He confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young adult. He was united in Holy Matrimony on May 18, 1985 to Sylvia Stephens. To this union four children were born, a son preceded him in death. Daniel was kindhearted, easy going, caring, determined and willing to always help others. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing baseball and shooting pool.
