David Michael Jamerson was born December 19, 1955, in Moncks Corner, SC, a son of the late Arthur and Reaven Mazyck Jamerson. He departed this life November 12, 2017, at his niece's home in Moncks Corner, SC.
Michael, as he was called by family and friends, received his education in the public schools of Berkeley County. He was employed as a longshoreman with the International Longshoreman's Association.
Michael was a member of Greater St. James A.M.E. Church, Summerville, SC.
Michael was a quiet reserved person who kept to himself. He had a stylish way of dressing and loved his Stacey Adams shoes, hats, and sun glasses. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially by his sister Delores and niece Brenda who were his caregivers during his final days.
Those left to cherish his memories are: three sisters, Catherine (Isaac) Richardson, Ruth Taylor and Delores Limehouse; sister-in-law, Sarah Jamison; aunt, Daisy Mazyck; special cousin, Kenneth Simmons, Sr.; goddaughter, Genevieve Jamison-Smalls; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Jamison.
