Obituary

Deacon Johnnie Gadson, Jr. was born December 12, 1949 in Moncks Corner, SC, son of Mr. Johnny Gadsden, Sr. and Mrs. Ethel Lee Ferguson Gadsden. Johnnie departed this life on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Johnnie, known to family and friends as "Fox" or "Bugg", received his education in the public schools of Berkeley County. He was employed by Seco Company, Inc. for many years.

Johnnie accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior and began his Christian pilgrimage at Holy Comforter Reformed Episcopal Church. He later transferred his membership to the Ministries of Truth Tabernacle where he was ordained a Deacon.

Johnnie was united in holy matrimony to Gwendolyn Sharper. This union was blessed with nine children.
