Delnora Limehouse Taylor, a daughter of Emmerline Witherspoon Limehouse and the late Arthur Lee Limehouse, was born on February 3, 1954 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. She departed this life on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at her residence in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. Delnora attended the public schools of Berkeley County, graduating from Berkeley High School, Class of 1972. Delnora was a member of Greater Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served as: President of Bible Study, Stewardess, Pulpit Aide Member and Gospel Choir Member. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Samuel Taylor, Jr. This union was blessed with two children. He preceded her in death on June 11, 2005. Delnora was a machine operator with Linq Industrial Fabrics, Homemaker Rugs, William-Heller, Berkeley Manufacturing and Concorde Fibers. She was also employed with the Berkeley County School District as a Bus Driver. Delnora enjoyed cooking and sewing. She will forever be missed by those whose lives she touched. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Latarsha "Tarsha" C. Taylor and Gwendolyn "Pumpkin" L. Taylor both of Moncks Corner, SC; her mother, Emmerline W. Limehouse of Moncks Corner, SC; two sisters, Vernethia Limehouse and Vera Reaves both of Moncks Corner, SC; three brothers, Calvin (Miriam) Limehouse of Moncks Corner, SC, Jerome (Cynthia) Limehouse of Tampa, FL and Leonard "Butch" Limehouse of Bronx, NY; a sister-in-law, Linda Taylor of Mobile, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
