With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Dominick Ricks, Jr. of North Charleston, SC, who departed this life on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Mrs. Vernatta Sade Ricks; siblings, Ms. Dominique Ricks and Mr. Anthony Ricks; and his grandmothers, Mrs. Alberta Shirley Simmons and Mrs. Elizabeth Ricks. He will also be deeply missed by a host of other relatives and friends who will forever hold him close in heart and memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Dominick Ricks, Sr. and Mrs. Mozell Page Ricks.

Viewing will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the O. Allen Gethers Jr. Memorial Chapel, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, 1010 Cooper Store Road, Moncks Corner, SC.

The family kindly requests that those attending the funeral wear blue and white in honor of Mr. Ricks .
