"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept my faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7 Donna Delphine Addison, the daughter of Douglas and Kathleen Williams Addison was born on January 12, 1969 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Roper Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. Donna accepted Jesus Christ as her savior and was baptized by Rev. F.C. Haskell at an early age. Upon baptism, she became a member of the St. Stephen Baptist Church in St. Stephen, SC where she rendered a lifetime of faithful service and worship. Donna was an active member and a former President of the YWA of St. Stephen Baptist Church. She also served on the church's Hospitality Committee. Donna attended St. Stephen Elementary School. She attended and graduated from St. Stephen High School in 1987. Donna was a good listener and in return she rendered her thoughts. She spoke kind words. She has a sunny side that contributed to healthy chats and laughter. Donna possessed a vibrant zestful energy. She was kind, patient and strong. Donna showed care and kindness to younger members of her family, extended families and communities. Donna's life will forever be cherished by: her loving and devoted mother, Kathleen Addison and father, Douglas Addison of the home; her brother, Roger Addison of Columbia, MD; her sister, Sherry (Timothy) Hannah of Charlotte, NC; four nieces: Queani Addison-Wilson, Kaila Addison, Jasmine Addison and Lashea Atkins; three nephews, Tyreke Hannah, Kingston Hannah and Marcus Givens; a goddaughter, Nevaeh Floyd; a godson, Antonio Devonta Deas; maternal aunts and uncles: Naomia (aka Boo Boo) Cuttino, Ruth (Andrew) Simmons and Alphonza Williams; paternal aunts and uncles: Samuel Broughton, Willie Mae Andrews, Cephas (Lillie Mae) Addison, Evangelist Mary Ann (Rev. Charlie) Goodman, Lillie (Rev. Whitaker) Middleton, Thelma (Rev. Ronald) Casey, Reatha (Al) Limehouse and Jessie Lee Johnson; a host of cousins, grandaunts and uncles, other relatives and friends.
