Mrs. Dorothy Mae Grant, a retired cosmetologist, of Goose Creek, SC, formerly of Columbia, SC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 3, 2019. Viewing will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, Moncks Corner, SC.

The funeral service will be held Friday, 8, 2019, 12:00 p.m., at Jones Memorial AME Zion Church, 2400 Barhamville Road, Columbia, SC 29204 under the direction of BOSTICK-TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, COLUMBIA, SC. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery, 4101 Fairfield Road, Columbia, SC 29203.

Survivors include her children: Cynthia Grant, Melvenia Jones, Wallis Ann Grant, Andrena Kelly, Linda Nelson and Ricky Nelson (Stephanie).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Grant and daughter, Lola Cowans.
