Mrs. Earline Richmond, the daughter of Willie and Lottie (Jenkins) Green, was born on September 2, 1932 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. She transitioned to eternal rest on April 3, 2021.

Earline, who was lovingly called "Big Mama" by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attended the public school system of Berkeley County. Albert Carey Richmond, Sr. and Earline (Green) Richmond were united in marriage on October 25, 1952. They shared 68 loving and memorable years as husband and wife. Through that union, they were blessed with seven children. Earline was a dedicated wife and mother whose greatest impact was her caring nature. "Big Mama" was a sweet and humble soul who enjoyed cooking, listening, singing or humming to her favorite gospel songs, and taking care of the household. Additionally, Earline's greatest love was her family and God.

Earline served as a faithful servant of God as a member of Irving Chapel A.M.E. Church. During her earlier years, she served on the Women's Choir Ministry and many other church projects.

Those left to cherish her memory are: her husband, Mr. Albert Carey Richmond, Sr.; children, Bertine Richmond, AC Richmond, Jr. (Retha), Thelma R. Tyler, Theresa Ann Richmond, Josephine Richmond, Georgianna Richmond and Willa Mae Richmond; twelve (12) grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Cohen and Ernestine Taylor; brother-in-law, Stanley Richmond (Betty); and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, April 9, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

A PRIVATE Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at the O. Allen Gethers Jr. Memorial Chapel. Please wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
