On Sunday, October 16, 2011, an angel sent by God made a stop at Heartland Nursing Home of West Ashley. He picked one of his precious flowers, Earnestine Kinloch Washington. Earnestine Kinloch Washington, the daughter of the late August Kinloch and Margaret Carson Kinloch, was born April 9, 1922 in Huger, SC. Earnestine attended school in Berkeley County, SC and later resided in New York City, NY for 40 years. Earnestine was a factory worker. Earnestine was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was full of laughter and jokes. Earnestine was preceded in death by two sons, Clarence Walter Kinloch and Donell "Chubby" Washington. She to cherish her fond memories: grandchildren, Eric L. Kinloch of Atlanta, GA, Arthur Ladson of New York City, NY, Elvina Y. Pruitt of Huger, SC, Theresa Hope (Mario) Hampton of Virginia, Donell Maurice (Jonique) Washington of McClellanville, SC, Nicole Washington of Wando, SC, and Kristen Washington of Summerville, SC; one brother, Harris (Dorothy) Kinloch of Huger, SC; nineteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
