With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the passing of Mr. Edward McKinney of Pineville, South Carolina, who departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Mr. McKinney found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing and caring for his yard, and he could often be found watching wrestling or listening to the soulful music of Lee Williams. A member of Day Dawn Baptist Church, he carried a quiet strength and spirit that touched those around him. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mrs. Annie Mae Smalls McKinney.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Patricia Footman (Alphonso), Edward McKinney (Suzy), and Jeffrey McKinney (Joyce); along with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and dear friends who will truly miss him.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later time.
