Bruce was a member of Moncks Corner AME Church. He served faithfully on the Trustee Board.
On September 11, 2010, Bruce was united in holy matrimony to Annette Keith whom he loved dearly. They enjoyed dining out and spending time together. Bruce especially enjoyed surprising Annette with beautiful flowers, "just because".
