Emma Jane Campbell entered into God's Glory on October 12, 2009, surrounded by family. Emma was born on January 12, 1944, in Bonneau, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Mrs. Rosa Lee Wright and the late Mr. Thomas Wright. Emma was educated in the Berkeley County School System where she later was employed as a cook until her retirement. She was joined in the holy estate of matrimony to Mr. Eugene Campbell, who preceded her in death. At an early age, Emma became a member of St. Mark AME Church, Bonneau, SC where she served faithfully until her health failed. Emma leaves to cherish her precious memories: four sons, Elder Billy (Joetta) Wright of Moncks Corner, SC, Eric Campbell, Dino Campbell of St. Stephen, SC and Shawn Campbell of Bonneau, SC; two daughters, Darlene (Carl) Manigault of Moncks Corner, SC and Carlotta Campbell of Bonneau, SC; her mother, Mrs. Rosa Lee Wright; sisters, Mary (William) Gadsden, Blondell (David) Frost, Gracie Wright, Marteen Wright, Amelia Wright and Sandy Wright all of Bonneau, SC; brothers, Herman (Janie) Wright and Thomas Wright of New York, Benjamin Smith of Detroit, MI, Joseph (Almena) Wright, James (Bertha Lee) Wright, Henry (Bertha) Wright, Bobby (Lydia) Wright, William (Linda) Wright all of Bonneau, SC; nineteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
