With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Emma Lee Kinlaw Simmons of St. Stephen, SC, who transitioned on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

She leaves a loving legacy to be cherished by her husband, Mr. Herman Simmons; children, Judith Kinlaw (Michael) Payton, Berlin (Patty Ann) Kinlaw, Toria Simmons, Wendy Simmons, La-mark Simmons, Lisa Simmons, Donald Simmons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings, Bettie Mae Kinlaw, Donal Moultrie, Tommie Lee (Juanita) Kinlaw, Daisy (Nolie) Fayall, Daniel (Lydia) Kinlaw; sister-in-law, Thelma Kinlaw; and a host of other family members and friends.

The family is receiving friends daily at the residence of her daughter in Moncks Corner, SC, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gethers Funeral Home, 200 Grace Street, Moncks Corner, SC.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Bethel United Methodist Church, 1245 Forty-One Road, St. Stephen, SC. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
