Obituary

Ernest Chad Bacon was born May 20, 1991, to Earnest and Rodessa Bacon in Charleston County, South Carolina. He departed this life on June 2, 2014, in Mount Pleasant, SC. He attended Timberland High School, St. Stephen, SC and completed his education at Job Corps Academy in Kentucky where he was certified as a Tile Setter. Ernest resided in Georgia with his uncle Deven White, and later with his uncle Anthony White. He worked at Anthony's Appliance Repair and as a cook for Ted's Montana Grill in Atlanta, Georgia. In April of this year, he moved back to South Carolina where he resided with his mother and brother. Ernest enjoyed studying the bible and faithfully attended Christian congregation meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. "EJ", as he was affectionately called, loved music, playing video games, skating, dancing, and being with his family on Family Day. EJ cherished the many times spent with his siblings, cousins, niece and nephews; enjoying the laughter and good times shared together. The time spent with his "Granny" was priceless to EJ. He loved and cherished the long hours spent on the phone with his grandmother, sister, and other family members. EJ had many dreams from wanting to become a professional dancer, to opening his own massage parlor, to finally wanting to work in his favorite profession as a Master Tile Setter. Preceding him in death were: his grandparents Sarah Bacon and Willie B. Bacon; his aunt Rebecca Bacon, and his caring and dearest uncle Dorrian White. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted mother, Rodessa Bacon of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his loving father, Earnest Bacon of Wando, SC; his affectionate sister, Desiree (Corey) Hagler of Goose Creek, SC; his caring brother, Elliott Bacon of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his grandparents, Rosetta A. White of St. Stephen, SC and Eugene White of Virginia; two nephews, Andre and Daunte Hagler, and one niece, Miya Hagler all of Goose Creek, SC; his uncles, Eugene (Amanda) White of Kingstree, SC, Anthony White of Georgia, Deven (Karenda) White of Georgia, John (Sheila) Bacon of New York, Isaac (Janice) Bacon of New York; his aunts, LaShawnda (Gregory) Green of Georgia, Evelyn McCray of Wando, SC, Renee Bacon of New York; special uncle and aunt, James and Connie Wideman of Mt Pleasant, SC; a very understanding cousin, Sonti Manuel; and a host of granduncles, grandaunts, cousins, friends and family. ********************************************************************* To leave an online memorial message for the family, please click on 'SIGN GUESTBOOK.'
