Evangelist Emma Jane King of Gary, IN, formerly of St. Stephen, SC, was born on September 23, 1947. She departed this earth on November 22, 2023.

She will be forever cherished by her seven sons and five daughters: Anthony King, Edward King, Cordell King, Deshalawn King, Andrew King, Rai-Jai King, Isaiah King, Nicole King, Monique (Quentin) Lewis, Jalisha King, Ashley King, and LaKeysha King; other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at River of Life Ministry, 609 Madison Street, Gary, IN 46403. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at River of Life Ministry.

The family is being served by Wheatley Funeral Home, 400 Pulaski Road, Calumet, Illinois, 60409.
