A time to be born, And a time to die" -Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a Ezekiel "Bootsie" Brown, son of the late Peter and Rebecca Wright Brown, was born on March 1, 1927 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. He entered into eternal rest at 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, June 17, 2015 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, SC. Ezekiel attended the public schools of Berkeley County, SC. He moved to Florida where he was an orchard worker for many years. After he retired, he returned home to South Carolina in 1999. Ezekiel accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in May 1999 at Rock Hill Baptist Church by Reverend Dr. Leon G. Brown. He was a member of the Senior Choir and served faithfully. Those who will cherish his memory are: two brothers, Mr. Melvin Brown of St. Stephen, SC and Mr. Peter Brown (Linda) of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters, Mrs. Eunice B. Warren of Moncks Corner, SC, Mrs. Jeanette Roberts of Philadelphia, PA and Mrs. Ida Lee Boone of Hallsboro, NC; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
