Frank Hamilton, Jr.  was born on September 21, 1943 in Berkeley County, South Carolina, a son of the late Frank Hamilton Sr. and Sadie Fashion Hamilton. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Frank was educated in the Berkeley County School System. He was a hard worker. He worked at Duplin General and JP Stevens in Duplin County, NC for a lengthy time. He also worked in Security at the Washington, DC Hospital and was a butcher in Manhattan, NY. Frank was employed with the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) and also drove for the South Carolina Senior Transportation taking seniors to scheduled doctor appointments, grocery shopping, etc.

Frank loved served others in the community. He was committed to going to church and bible study. Frank's hobbies were collecting cars and keeping them clean. He loved mowing his yard and traveling to North Carolina to see his sons and daughter-in-law. Frank was loved by family, his neighbors and many others in the community. He loved his gospel music and loved to attend Omnipotent Praise Ministries, North Carolina, his son's church, to hear him sing.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hazel McNeil Hamilton; and stepdaughter, Michelle Bradley.

Frank leaves to celebrate his life: mother of his children, Rebecca Hamilton Montoya; four children, Martin Hamilton, Diarell (Joy) Hamilton, Charles Hamilton and Carlos Hamilton; one stepdaughter, Tonya Bradley; one stepson, Anthony (Tammy) McNeil; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Benjamin (Lavern) Hamilton, Phyllis Hamilton, Deacon Jacob (Blondia) Hamilton, Beulah N. (Joseph) June, Arlene Hamilton, Rev. Kenneth (Shirley) Hamilton and Jesse (Jackie) Hamilton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family and friends.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, 11:00 a.m., at Anderson Baptist Church Cemetery, 1159 Old Black Oak Road, Moncks Corner, SC. Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Face masks are required.
