Obituary

On Saturday, April 29, 2017, Frederick Douglas Lloyd was chosen to be with the Lord.

Frederick, affectionately known as " Freddie", was born on November 10, 1955 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Roosevelt and Georgianna Lloyd.

Frederick joined Greater Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church at a young age and remained a member until the end.

Frederick was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County and was a 1973 graduate of Berkeley High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and served from 1973 to 1975 and was honorably discharged.

Frederick was a dedicated employee at the International Longshoreman Association until his health lead him to retire in 2015.

Frederick had a passion for life and family, and these things brought him much joy. He was loved by many, and no one was a stranger to him because he loved to tell jokes and spread laughter.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Waltiko Fludd, Deshawn Rivers, Nichole Limehouse and Kelly Limehouse; one sister, Grace Grant; three brothers, Carl Lloyd, Barry Lloyd and Josh Weathers; grandchildren, Jeric, Cameron, Isaiah, Deshawn, Aalyiah, Peighton, Peige, Keyshawn and Michael; special friends, Vernethia Limehouse, Betty McWilliams, Janice Fennick, Joel Flowers and Kamora Lloyd; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
