"A Life Well Lived" Geneva H. Irving, the daughter of the late Mr. James and Mrs. Susan Hilliard, was born on March 13, 1928, in Berkeley County, South Carolina. She departed this life on October 22, 2013, in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Geneva was educated in the public schools of Berkeley County, SC. She was employed at Trident Medical Center, Charleston, SC as a Dietician until she retired. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Frederick Irving. This union was blessed with one daughter, Mary Lee Hilliard Parker. Geneva was a faithful and dedicated member of Anderson Baptist Church, Santee Circle, SC. Geneva, affectionately known as "Puddin", "Nana", "DaDa", "Aunt Geneva", and "Mrs. Irving", was the Matriarch of her family. She had a special hobby of crocheting blankets, bedspreads and baby clothes. She loved blessing the hearts of many with her talents in gifts. She also like playing "cards" for fun. Geneva loved having fun and enjoying life. She had a special and unique way about herself and loved dressing up! Geneva leaves to cherish her memories: a loving granddaughter, Dorinda Joy Miller (Ryan) of Moorestown, NJ; a beloved son-in-law, Wilber Parker, Jr. (Deloris) of Dover, DE; two nieces, Lavern Jordan (Ralph) of Moncks Corner, SC and Denise Hilliard of the home, who became a special caregiver; a devoted nephew, Edward Prince Smith, Jr. (Mary) of Moncks Corner, SC, better known to her as "her Son, Poo Poo"; a loving friend, Johnny Joy of Moncks Corner, SC; a special and devoted friend, Denise "Neicy" Reid (Michael) of Moncks Corner, SC; three special grandchildren, Frederick Lawrence Brazell (Shelly), Brenda Brazell and Emmanuel Brazell; a dedicated special friend, Isabelle Jenkins; special friend, Dorothy Warren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Those who preceded her in heaven include her husband, Fred; daughter, Mary Lee; and sister, Wilhelmina Hilliard Roper.
