Obituary

God, in His infinite wisdom, saw fit to suddenly remove from our midst our beloved mother, Mrs. Geneva Thomas White. Geneva, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Phyllis Coaxum, was born May 6, 1919 in the Lawrenceville Section of Berkeley County, South Carolina where she was reared. She was the wife of the late Henry White who preceded her in death. A son, Joe White, also preceded Geneva in death. Geneva was a sweet and loving person and a devoted mother. Most of all, she was a child of God! On the evening of Sunday, April 26, 2009, Geneva departed this life. She leaves to cherish her memory: two devoted daughters, Phyllis White and Annie M. Dixon of Boston, MA; one daughter-in-law, Maggie White of Boston, MA; a grandson she reared, Michael White of the home; a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
