With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mr. Gilbert White of Summerville, SC, who departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his wife, Mrs. Helen R. White; his children, Sonsechria "Shae" Edokpia (Godfrey) and Brandon D. Richardson (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kristen, Chandler, Brianna, Jaedon, Cameron, and Derrick; and his great-grandchildren, Charlee and Frank. He is also survived by his sister, Claudette Elaine Milligan (Robert), and a host of dear family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

The family is receiving visitors at the home of Mr. Robert and Mrs. Elaine Milligan.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org

Viewing will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Gethers St. Stephen Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Day Dawn Baptist Church, 2057 Highway 45, Pineville, SC, with viewing from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in White Cemetery.
