"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7 Gloria Witherspoon McNeil, a daughter of Harold Witherspoon and Geraldine Bolger, was born on November 24, 1955 in Wilmington, North Carolina. She attended the public schools of Berkeley County, South Carolina. She was employed by Pizza Hut for 22 years until her health declined. Gloria was united in holy matrimony to Christopher L. McNeil on June 10, 1977. This union was blessed with four children; one daughter, Samantha McNeil, preceded her in death. Gloria was a member of the International House of Prayer, Cordesville, SC. Gloria, affectionately called "Peaches" and "Wiggy", was a lovable person. Family and friends were her love and joy. She will forever be missed by many. Gloria fought a long and courageous battle until sunset on April 4, 2015 when she peacefully entered into eternal life with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband of 37 years, Christopher L. McNeil of Moncks Corner, SC; three children, Latisha McNeil (Gregory) Johnson of Columbia, SC, Mary McNeil of Columbia, SC and Martha McNeil of Charleston, SC; her father, Harold Witherspoon of Moncks Corner, SC; eleven grandchildren, Tameika, Shanice, Michael, Malachia, Haven, Keion, Dalachia, Jashawn, Jordan, Jalaya and Genesis; three siblings, Joanne Ansley of New York, Julie Witherspoon of South Carolina and Harold (Jackie) West of North Carolina; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, and uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
