Mr. Gyles "Bub" Addison of New York, NY, formerly of St. Stephen, SC, and widower of Emma Addison, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 23, 2019.  He was the son of the late Deacon Ransom Addison and the late Annie Sumpter Addison.

Those left to cherish his memory include: his children, Jeffery Addison (Carol), Gyles Addison Jr. and Wanda Addison; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his siblings, Mattie Addison Gethers, Beaufort Addison (Margaret) and Dr. Oliver W. Addison (Elizabeth); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Addison will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the George H. Weldon Funeral Home, 353 East 116th Street, New York, NY.

His funeral service will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, 1765 Madison Avenue, New York, NY. Interment will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
